i tried to include varying stage lightings but always remember to adjust the curves layer to the specific video you are trying to gif! it also depends a lot on your sharpening as you can see in the taemin.psd where i had to get rid of a lot of white highlight with a selective colours slider but that was because of my own sharpening. so definitely play around with that a lot. i would say somi.psd is a pretty average sort of psd to start with but again, it comes down to the curves layer!

i think my biggest tips would be to not generally overthink the colouring too much because sometimes we find ourselves staring at the same dark photoshop tab for a bit too long and it all starts to look wrong 😭 

i would also say that you don’t want to find yourself overcorrecting either because it’s definitely hard to see an idol’s true skintone as it differs from whitewashed photos and fancams and varying lighting - so often you see oversaturated sort of gifs so i think its just about finding the average nice balance 😭 it’s also nice to ask fellow ccs for help because we all struggle at times and two sets of eyes are better than one!

This pandemic project has been over 2 years in the making and we hope it will greatly assist any of our readers who are eager to conduct in-depth research but may be at a loss where to start.

• Part 5: Recognizing Your Limits

Each portion of the guide has links to connect to the previous and next sections. While it is possible to view tumblr pages on phones and tablets through the app, we highly recommend viewing this guide via browser on desktop whenever possible. Tumblr page formatting is better suited for browsers and each section is very dense with information, which will make scrolling in the app or on your dashboard difficult.

Unironically LOVE that the script for RWRB was clearly written for a short!Alex, but then they hired TZP and just… didn’t acknowledge it or change anything. So we have an obviously-shorter-than-Alex Henry needling Alex about his height and Alex furiously telling everyone that Henry MUST BE lying about being tall and yelling “We’re the same height!” while looking down at him which is just so fucking funny. Honestly, way more iconic than hiring a shorter actor and playing those lines straight. I want every insecure short character to be played by a giant from now on.
